May tries to ‘Prevent’ Kiddie extremists

Theresa May finally revealed what the media had been leaking all week. The Muslim community must learn to play ball or the game would be called off.  Muslims groups are to lose funding if they are seen to be promoting extremism, with the governments track record this means anyone who doesn’t call for secularism.

Another interesting thing coming out of the 120 page document was the number of people who had been referred to the government’s Channel program for intellectual re-branding.  The figure of 1,120 included 55 under the age of 12, the government doesn’t have an age limit for whom it wants to label as extreme.

Product of ‘British values’ uses children for sexual pleasure

Following on from the government’s non-ageist policy one of the ‘non-extreme’ members of society Paul Wilson admitted in court he had raped a toddler who was in his care at a nursery.  The 20 year old was also convicted of various other sex crimes and was put in prison for life.  Wilson had passed all the CRB checks and had been cleared to work with children. Islam has concepts and ideas to keep a person in check, the Democratic model has legislation to attempt to keep a person in check.

Sheri Rehman’s Question of Faith

Minorities in Pakistan have once again come under the spotlight this time in a report that condemns their treatment. The report entitled ‘A Question of Faith’ was published by the Jinnah Institute which is led by Sheri Rehman (PPP’s right hand woman),  the report says Pakistan’s Blasphemy law should be repealed. Meaning anyone could insult Islam without a consequence.

While it is true to an extent that the minorities in Pakistan are oppressed, it is down to the corrupt system which rules them and not any one law. The Pakistani government oppresses all that it rules, this is the nature of Democracy in Pakistan. If minorities really want to be given their rights they needn’t look towards the West as Cameron has shown secular democracy doesn’t enjoy cozy relations with its minority populations. The only way to secure the rights for the non-Muslims in Pakistan is through Islamic rule.

As for Sheri Rehman maybe she should take her own advice and Question her Faith.
