On 15th April 2011 Obama, Sarkozy and Cameron sent a letter to three leading newspapers regarding the ongoing operation in Libya. Below is the letter with what they really meant in Bold under each paragraph.

A revolution by definition is a radical change in the political governance of a people, resulting in the overthrow of a government and it’s replacement with something fundamentally different to what preceded it. Historically revolutions have created dramatic and all encompassing change all within a relatively short period of time, hence true revolutions are rare and infrequent.

The Washington Post ran a story today discussing the ‘concerns’ of President Obama about the levels of violence currently taking place in Libya. Bearing this in mind the US will be sending an ‘aid’ mission to Libya to not only attempt to alleviate the suffering of the people, but also and quite possibly most importantly make contact with the opposition.
